SHARE SECURED AND SHARE PLEDGE

Share Secured is a loan with a Share Account or Share Certificate held as collateral.
Share Pledge is a loan with the amount borrowed held in reserve on your savings account as collateral.

Up to 120 month terms
Maximum amount that can be borrowed: $40,000
Rates is 3% over the prevailing dividend rate of the account being held as collateral.

Most loans other than Home Equity can be approved within 24-48 hours.

Loan Protection Insurance

Credit Life and Credit Disability Insurance are additional and optional insurance plans offered by Hartford Municipal Employees Federal Credit Union to members at an affordable fee. The insurance provides loan payments on the member's behalf in the event of death or disability. The premiums are based on a percentage of the monthly loan balance. These insurance plans are available on all types of consumer loans.
