NEW VIRTUAL BRANCH ONLINE BANKING COMING MARCH 1ST!


Dear Valued Member,

On the morning of March 1, 2012, Home Financial Services, our Online Banking service will be replaced by Virtual Branch.  

This change is more than a new look, it is an enhanced product.  With Virtual Branch Online Banking, you will enjoy 24/7 access to your Hartford Municipal Employees Federal Credit Union accounts. You will be able to transfer funds, view up-to-the-minute balance and history information, set up balance alerts and bill reminders, view your account history to see when share draft/checks have cleared or when direct deposits have arrived, check loan balances, make loan and credit card payments instantly, and much more!

Best of all, you can enjoy this updated version of Virtual Branch Online Banking for FREE! On March 1, you will be automatically switched to the new system when you log in.  As a current user of our Online Banking system, please log in with your existing credentials and use your password for the security code.  You will then be asked to change your security code (password) and enroll in an Enhanced Authentication process where you will be asked to select a secret image and phrase. Then you will be asked to select 3 challenge questions and answers.  Once you confirm your new password, image, phrase and challenge questions you will be successfully logged on to your Virtual Branch Online Banking.  It’s that easy!

Security Code
Your security code (password) must be at least 8 characters long and contain no less than 2 alpha and 2 numerical characters. It cannot contain any special characters (! @ # $ % ‘_ , etc.), only letters and numbersIf your present password contains one or more of these special characters, please change it before February 24th so that your information will transfer accurately, otherwise, you will not be able to access your account on March 1st.

Email Address
With this new system, a correct email address is REQUIRED, because Virtual Branch Online Banking allows you to communicate with our customer service team via email.  Once you log in to Virtual Branch Online Banking, you will have your own mail box, allowing you to review, save, and send new messages to our customer service team regarding your account. Again, please check and update your email address before February 24th.
